01Is it free?
Testing the node is free and registers you for phase 2 benefits. To win SECT in phase 1 you need at least 100 SECT in staking: with 100 SECT you're Scout and win 55 SECT.
02Why do I need to stake SECT to win more?
Because SECT already trades. The famous airdrops gave their token away on the day it was born, when there was no market to protect yet. With a token that is already on the market, giving it to people with nothing at stake usually ends in sales the same day, and that hurts the holders who already back Sectora.
Asking you to stake SECT protects the community in four ways:
1. It rewards the people who really support the project.
2. It stops people who move the same SECT between many wallets to win several times.
3. The SECT stay in staking, off the market, and you keep earning the staking rewards.
4. The prizes arrive on SectoraEVM in two halves, instead of hitting the market at once.
Testing the Hash Node is still free and registers you for phase 2.
03What is a node? Does it cost anything?
A node is your place in the Sectora network. Activating it is free: connect your wallet in the dashboard and press Activate my node. No tokens to buy and no gas. Once activated, it stays on in the network by itself: you can close the tab or turn off your computer and your count keeps adding up. Use the same wallet as in the airdrop so your node counts.
04Do I have to send my SECT?
Only to Sectora staking, which has no lock-up: you withdraw whenever you want. You never send SECT to any other address. We check your staking once a day.
05Are my SECT locked? Can I sell?
No. Staking has no lock-up: you withdraw and sell whenever you want, and you keep your staking rewards. Only the airdrop changes: your prize only grows while your SECT are in staking. If you take them out, your count pauses, and when you come back it continues where it left off; the time you were out doesn't add up. The same if you turn off your Hash Node: the time it's off doesn't add up. If you go down a level, that level's part pauses with the days it already has: when you come back to that level, it keeps adding up, even to complete day 30. Each part needs at least 30 days inside: if you leave with fewer and don't come back, that part wins nothing. You never get more than your level's prize. What isn't won goes back to the bag.
06How much will I get?
It depends on what you stake: with 100 SECT you win 55 SECT (Scout), with 500 you win 325 (Sentinel), with 1,000 you win 750 (Guardian) and with 4,000 you win 3,600 (Titan). If you stake more, you win in proportion, with no maximum: 2,000 SECT in staking = 1,500 SECT. You win the full prize when you complete your time, which is the same for everyone and counts from the day you join; if you leave earlier, you win the part of the time you were in (minimum 30 days). Entries stay open until the 7,000,000 SECT are reserved. We don't promise dollar amounts.
07When do I get it?
Deliveries start at the launch of SectoraEVM. If you've completed your time, you receive it that day; if you joined later, on the day you complete it. Half that day and the other half 30 days later.
08I already stake. Do I have to do anything?
No. If you already stake, you're already in and you don't have to do anything else: just turn on your Hash Node with the same wallet you stake with and you start taking part. Your staked SECT count on their own, you don't need to withdraw anything, and staking has no lock-up.
09Who can join?
Anyone where it's legal. The rules are on this page from the opening day.
10What is Airdrop 2?
A future airdrop for the people who use their Genesis SECT on SectoraEVM. Its rules will be published before it starts.
11How do you stop one person from using many wallets?
With the math of the levels. Each level pays more for every SECT: for every 100 SECT in staking, Scout wins 55, Sentinel 65, Guardian 75 and Titan 90. So splitting your SECT across wallets always pays less: 4,000 SECT as one Titan win 3,600 SECT; split into 40 Scouts they win 2,200. On top of that, before paying we check the blockchain and remove groups of wallets that come from the same person.
12I joined late. Do I win less?
No. Everyone has the same time to complete their prize, counted from the day they join. If you join late, you keep adding up after the launch of SectoraEVM until you complete your time, and you receive it that day. That way deliveries are spread over time instead of all arriving on the same day. If you were already staking, you start counting on the opening day. If you add more SECT later, what that adds to your prize counts from that day and is delivered separately when it completes its time.
13Will there be a phase 2?
Yes. When the first part of the airdrop ends, phase 2 begins. It hasn't been revealed yet: its tasks will be announced on X and Telegram. Phase 1 participants will get extra benefits. Phase 1 doesn't change: your SECT in staking with your node on, until you complete your time, win your level's prize.
