Pay with ETH
One transaction and you're done. Uniswap converts your ETH through the SECT/USDT pool automatically, and the network fee comes out of the same ETH.
- One transaction: the swap
- No approval needed
- You only need ETH in your wallet
Guide · Uniswap · Ethereum
#SECT trades openly on Uniswap, the largest decentralized exchange on Ethereum. You trade from your own wallet, 24 hours a day: Sectora never holds your funds and never asks you to send money anywhere. Pay with ETH, the most direct route, or with USDT, keeping a little ETH for the network fee.

01 · Two ways to pay
One transaction and you're done. Uniswap converts your ETH through the SECT/USDT pool automatically, and the network fee comes out of the same ETH.
Swap USDT for #SECT directly in the pool. The first time, Uniswap asks you to approve USDT: that is one extra transaction, and both are paid in ETH.
Every transaction on Ethereum — the approval and the swap — pays its network fee in ETH, even when you buy with USDT. Without ETH, your wallet can't send anything. Keep enough for a few transactions; your wallet shows the exact fee before you confirm.
Selling
Selling is the same swap in reverse: choose #SECT in “Sell” and ETH or USDT in “Buy”. The pool is open 24 hours a day and there is no token tax on sells.

Wallet
This guide uses MetaMask, but any wallet compatible with Uniswap works the same way. Download it only from its official website or your phone's official app store. Create a new wallet and write the Secret Recovery Phrase on paper. Never type it into a website and never share it.
Funds
Buy ETH on an exchange, or with a card inside MetaMask, and send it to your wallet address. When you withdraw from an exchange, choose the Ethereum (ERC-20) network.
Uniswap
Go to app.uniswap.org — check the address — or use the buttons on this page: they open Uniswap with #SECT already selected.
Open Uniswap with #SECT ↗Connect
Press Connect, choose MetaMask (or your wallet) and approve the connection in the wallet. Check that the network is Ethereum.
Tokens
In Sell, choose ETH or USDT. In Buy, choose #SECT; if it doesn't appear, paste the contract 0x8C9984B06281f1CA9416e493c2E602AaB08513db.
Amount
Type how much you want to spend. Before going on, read the rate, the price impact, the minimum received and the network fee.
Approval Only with USDT
The first time you pay with USDT, Uniswap asks for permission to use it. Confirm it in your wallet: it's a transaction with a network fee in ETH. Uniswap may also ask you to sign a message, which is free.
Swap
Press Swap, review the summary and confirm in your wallet. Ethereum usually confirms in under a minute; Uniswap tells you when it's done.
Done
If your wallet doesn't show #SECT yet, use its Import tokens option (in MetaMask, “Import tokens”) and paste the contract address; the symbol and decimals fill in by themselves.
04 · Wallets
Uniswap works with any Ethereum wallet that connects through a browser extension, a wallet app or WalletConnect. These are the most used:
The most widely used wallet on Ethereum, and the one this guide uses as the example. Uniswap connects to it in one tap.
Self-custody wallet; connects to Uniswap directly.
Popular on phones; connect it with WalletConnect.
Simple Ethereum wallet with WalletConnect.
Multi-chain wallet; use the Ethereum network.
Wallet and portfolio tracker in one.
Software and hardware wallet, via WalletConnect.
Mobile wallet; connect it with WalletConnect.

…and any other Ethereum wallet with WalletConnect.

07 · Questions
Because Ethereum charges every transaction's network fee in ETH. USDT pays for the #SECT; ETH pays for the transaction that moves it.
Yes. #SECT trades on Uniswap 24 hours a day. Selling is the same swap in reverse, from your own wallet and with no token tax; you only pay the fees Uniswap shows in the quote and the network fee in ETH.
Yes. Uniswap flags tokens that aren't on its default lists. Confirm that the address is exactly 0x8C9984B06281f1CA9416e493c2E602AaB08513db and continue.
Open app.uniswap.org from a computer or from the wallet's own built-in browser. The pool and the route are the same.
Usually the price moved while you were confirming, or there wasn't enough ETH for the fee. Your tokens stay in your wallet, although a failed transaction still costs its network fee. Check your ETH, raise the slippage a little and try again.
No. Any wallet compatible with Uniswap works: Uniswap Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, Trust Wallet, Rainbow, Rabby, OKX Wallet, Zerion, Phantom, Ledger and many more through WalletConnect. The steps are the same.
Not #SECT directly. Buy ETH with your card inside MetaMask or on an exchange, then follow the steps above.
